Installation Method for Fiber Optic Starry Sky Ceiling:

    1. Construct Wooden Frame

Installation method for starry sky ceiling

Use wooden joists for the frame, with specifications of 3*4 cm. The center distance of the wooden frame should be 600600 mm (any part exceeding multiples of 600 mm should be constructed according to actual dimensions). The space between the joists and the bottom or ceiling surface should be no less than 10 cm (16 cm for a flickering effect), with no upper limit. Ensure the dimensions correspond to the starry sky layout diagram. For light steel joists, wooden strips can be added underneath the frame. The purpose of the wooden frame is to secure the starry sky modules, route the fiber optic cables, and house the controller inside the frame. If on-site space is insufficient, consider placing the controller in the surrounding secondary ceiling.

    2. Secure Starry Sky Modules

Install the modules sequentially according to the direction and numbering indicated by the arrows in the diagram. Start installing from the position farthest from the controller. After installing each starry sky module, pull the fiber optic bundle to the designated position on the machine via the shortest path (avoid winding the cables). Use F30 staples, and ensure even spacing and uniform stapling force during installation. Do not seal the last module at the controller location until the starry sky ceiling effect has been adjusted and finalized.

    3. Create Fiber Optic Connectors

Gather the corresponding fiber optic cables as required by the diagram and create connectors following the video instructions. Ensure the connectors are properly made, as poorly made connectors may cause some light points to not illuminate or appear dim.

    4. Insert Fiber Optic Connectors into the Controller

Insert the prepared connectors into the controller as specified in the diagram and tighten them with screws.

    5. Wiring Method for Meteor Machine

The meteor machine has 16 holes. First, attach the tubes. The ends of the fiber optic cables for the meteor strips in the starry sky modules are already marked: A1–A16 and B1–B16. A1 and B1 share one hole, and so on. Insert the cables into the meteor machine in the order of the meteor lighting sequence. Trim any excess fiber optic cables from the starry sky and use them to fill the meteor tubes, but do not cut the meteor strip fibers. Secure the fiber optic cables to the meteor machine with electrical tape to prevent disconnection.

    6. Adjust the Starry Sky Ceiling

Connect the power cable and use the remote control to adjust the starry sky ceiling effect according to the controller’s instruction manual.
